Services We Provide

Sleep problems deserve medical expertise. At the Center for Sleep & Wake Disorders, our board-certified sleep medicine physicians don’t just guess at your sleep issues—they comprehensively diagnose them using the latest tools in sleep science and technology.

Our in-lab sleep studies use medically-grade monitoring equipment and trained sleep technologists to observe and record every aspect of your sleep. This allows us to identify the exact cause of your symptoms and design a treatment plan backed by evidence, not guesswork.

Do You Experience Any of These Symptoms?

  • Can’t fall asleep or stay asleep
  • Waking up exhausted despite sleeping
  • Excessive daytime sleepiness or fatigue
  • Loud snoring
  • Gasping or choking during sleep
  • Restless, uncomfortable legs at night
  • Vivid nightmares or acting out dreams
  • Waking at odd hours (early morning, midnight)

We diagnose and treat all of these sleep-related issues and more at the Center for Sleep & Wake Disorders.

How We Diagnose Your Sleep Issues

Every diagnosis begins with a thorough sleep history, neurological examination, and sleep diary to understand your symptoms. When needed, we proceed to one of our three diagnostic options:

In-Lab Sleep Study (Polysomnogram)

Overnight monitoring in our comfortable, private sleep lab. We record brain activity, heart rhythm, breathing, oxygen levels, and leg movements to capture a complete picture of your sleep. Gold standard for accurate diagnosis.

Home Sleep Study (Home Sleep Apnea Test)

For certain patients, we can monitor your sleep in your own home with portable equipment. Convenient and effective for screening sleep apnea.

Daytime Sleep Tests (MSLT / MWT)

If daytime sleepiness or narcolepsy is suspected, we measure how quickly you fall asleep during naps (MSLT) or your ability to stay awake during quiet periods (MWT).
