Entering the Building at Night

 

You may enter the building through the front door by signing in at the concierge desk. Please tell the attendant that you are here for a sleep study. Enter and take the elevator to the 17th floor and follow the signs to the Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders (suite 1700).

After 8:00 PM you may contact the sleep lab staff directly at 301-961-3159.
Saturday and Sunday night patients: please be aware that our garage closes at 8:30pm. We advise that you arrive by 8:20pm to ensure entry. We can let you out before 8am the following morning.

Please remember to bring your referral form (if one is required by your insurance) and your copayment. If your insurance requires a referral and you do not have one, you will be responsible for the cost of the visit.

***There is a $375 late cancellation fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. If you have a problem with your sleep study visit before the next business day, you must page the doctor on call by dialing (301) 654-1575, once connected press 8. Leave a brief message including your name and phone number. We will be paged and will return your call. We wish to be paged for these scheduling issues; please do so.***

Directions:

 

From Rockville/Montgomery County:
Take Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue/355 South toward Washington DC, through Bethesda to Chevy Chase. The Barlow Building is at 5454 Wisconsin Ave, Suite 1725. It is across from the Chevy Chase Center and just north of Western Ave, on the right.
Alternately, take Connecticut Avenue South to Chevy Chase Circle.  On Chevy Chase Circle, bear right on Western Avenue. Turn right onto Wisconsin Avenue. The building is on the left, just past The Gap.
Parking is available in the parking garage, with an entrance to the rear of the building.

From Virginia:
Take the Beltway (495) toward Rockville/Baltimore to River Road/190 East (Exit 39). Follow River Road approximately 4 miles. Turn left on Willard Avenue. To park in building turn left at Hills Plaza and right into the underground garage.

From Washington DC:
Take Wisconsin Avenue/355 North. Cross the district line at Western Avenue.  The Barlow Building is on the left, just past the Gap. Parking is available in the parking garage, with an entrance to the rear of the building.

Metro:
Take the Red Line Metro to the Friendship Heights stop. Take the Western Avenue/Military Road exit straight ahead. At street level, turn right and walk north on Wisconsin Avenue. The Barlow Building is on the opposite side of Wisconsin Avenue, past The Gap, and Banana Republic. It is a black glass set back from the sidewalk.
