Telehealth Sleep Medicine in Maryland

Getting expert care for a sleep disorder shouldn’t require unnecessary travel. The Center for Sleep & Wake Disorders offers secure telehealth appointments that allow many patients to meet with a board-certified sleep medicine physician from the comfort of home. Whether you’re seeking answers about persistent fatigue, discussing sleep study results, or managing an ongoing sleep condition, virtual visits provide a convenient way to receive personalized care.

Our telehealth services are available to patients located in Maryland and are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

When an In-Person Visit May Be Needed

While many appointments can be completed virtually, certain situations require an office visit or diagnostic testing.

Your physician may recommend an in-person appointment if you need:

  • A comprehensive physical examination
  • An overnight in-lab sleep study (polysomnography)
  • Specialized daytime sleep testing
  • Equipment fitting or hands-on evaluation
  • Diagnostic procedures that cannot be performed remotely

If an in-person visit is recommended, our team will help coordinate your appointment at the appropriate clinic location.

Your Patient Portal

Your AdvancedMD patient portal is a secure way to manage your care between visits. Here’s what you can do from the portal:

  • Access your medical records
  • View test results
  • Request prescription refills
  • Message our clinical team
  • Update your health information

All in one secure place.

Your health portal keeps your health information protected and allows you to communicate with our physicians and staff securely. For HIPAA compliance, we require all patient communication to go through the secure portal rather than regular email.
